Standard Version A window opens with a view of the inside of the International Space Station Processing Facility. There is a small white button at the center of the bottom of the screen. When you mouse moves that button to the left or right the screen begins to scroll, until you have traveled around a three hundred and sixty degree image showing the entire inside of the Facility.There are large machines used to process the payloads for each Shuttle mission. A payload is the cargo that is placed on the Shuttle. It can be experiments or supplies, depending on what kind of mission that is scheduled. Most recently most payloads have incorporated the Leonardo or Rafaello both of which are multi-purpose logistics modules used to carry laboratory racks with science equipment as well as racks and platforms filled with bags of experiments and supplies to and from the International Space Station. |
